ADA website remediation report: what to document after fixes

After an ADA website demand letter, fixing issues is only half the work. You also need a clear record of what was found, what changed and when.

This is a technical accessibility assessment, not legal advice, and automated testing cannot establish ADA compliance.

What a useful remediation report should include

Why a dated record matters

Your attorney may need to understand what was technically wrong and what changed. A dated technical record is not a legal conclusion, but it gives your attorney facts: pages checked, issues detected, fixes completed and remaining items that need human review.

What automated checks can prove

Automated checks are strong for issues like missing image alternative text, form fields without labels, buttons without readable names, links without names, missing page language and many color contrast failures. They cannot prove every user can complete every task. That is why a report should separate automated results from manual checks.

Manual checks to add

How ADA Triage handles the report

We scan the selected pages, map the letter's claims to detected issues, write fix steps, and let you run re-checks after changes. The verification report shows what changed between the assessment and the re-check.
